Become a Performer at the Fair

Thank you for your interest in performing at the 2023 California State Fair & Food Festival! Community Entertainment is a vital component of the Fair. We are grateful that we can highlight performers from around the state, allowing Fair guests to discover and enjoy California talent.

The Entertainment Applications for Bands & Musicians and Dance & Performance are no longer available online. The deadline to apply was Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Applications received after the deadline are placed on the WAIT LIST. All applicants who submit their application by the March 29th deadline will be notified by email on or before May 1, 2023, regarding whether they have been selected to perform.

NOTE: Each year the screening process starts anew, and regardless of your performance(s) in previous years at the California State Fair, you must complete an online application annually.

Here is some important information regarding 2023 Community Entertainment at the Fair, which pertains to both Community Stage Performers and Professional Strolling Grounds Acts.
