Ava Lemert is an award-winning performer, songwriter, producer, and recording artist, considered for 10 GRAMMY Awards so far as of 2024. Rock, funk, blues, soul, jazz, disco, pop, you name it, Ava plays it! She performs originals and covers with her unique “Singing Saxstress™” style, combining her powerful, agile voice with her sizzling saxophone play.

Delta Breeze is a refreshing blend of classic rock, jazz fusion, and contemporary blues. The group consists of guitarist Joey, bassist Elias, and drummer Eames. This trio comes out of Sacramento with occasional guest performers to spice things up.

What do you get when you cross Tom Petty with Jimi Hendrix? You would get something like Tom Hendrix, or Jimi Petty, but that’d be weird. But what you would also get, is something that might sound a bit like Freedom Heartsong.

Top Ten Billboard Blues Charting Artist Katie Knipp, who just released her critically acclaimed 8th album “Me,” is making worldwide waves with her band.  From the musical director for Saturday Night Live calling her the Nor-cal Fiona Apple, to Walter Trout being knocked out with her creativity, to Sacramento News and Review crowning her best blues artist 2 consecutive years, to international publications like Blues Matters Magazine noting her latest album a “masterpiece with vocals rising like a primeval beast,” this is a band not to be missed.  Her all star line up includes Pancho Tomaselli on bass (War, Philm, Tower of Power), Steve Utstein on Hammond Organ (Bo Diddley, Junior Wells, Cafe R, and B), Chris Martinez on guitar (Sacramento Blues Hall of Fame Inductee), and Neil Campisano on drums (most in-demand drummer in the region).

Red’s Blues is a four-piece Sacramento Blues Hall of Fame band from Sacramento, California, featuring Beth Reid-Grigsby, aka Sacramento Red, on lead vocals and harmonies, RW Grigsby, bass and vocals, Doug Crumpacker, guitar/harmonica and vocals and Tim Wilbur, drums/percussion and vocals.  They specialize in traditional blues, as well as a lot of original Americana/Roots music, and have been twice nominated for a SAMMIE award for best blues band in the NorCal region.  Beth and RW founded Red’s Blues in 2012.
The band has released four CDs, the newest being Old Diamonds and Uncut Gems, recorded live at the Starlet Room in October ‘23, with an excellent lineup of musical guests, and was released on April 17, 2024.  Broke Down in the Fast Lane was released July 1, 2020, during the pandemic.  You Knock Me Out was released in 2017 and the self-titled CD, Red’s Blues, was released in 2014. Over the years our CDs have featured some of Northern California’s finest guest artists, such as Rick Estrin, Johnny Burgin, Sid Morris, John Cocuzzi, and Kyle Rowland.  RW, in July 2023, released a solo CD of his own songs, titled Grigsby’s Truck Stop.  He sings lead and Beth backs him up on harmonies.  There’s an all-star list of musicians on his work of Americana/Roots music.

Rod Stinson Band (RSB) is a West Sacramento-based 6-piece band featuring a father-son duo, drummer, bass, and horn section.  RSB plays original songs and cover songs alike to cater to a wide range of audiences.  The band’s sound is a cross between Sublime, Jack Johnson, and Van Morrison.

Kyle Rowland and his band, Rowland & Tumblin’, have dominated every festival and juke joint they have stepped foot in. From traditional Chicago and Texas-style blues to mid-century soul, funk, and Rock-N-Roll, Rowland & Tumblin’ will have your toes tapping till the next morning!

The Interlude is a jazz fusion band made up of Sacramento locals. The band was created to maintain interest in music specifically jazz and other popular genres during the summer when usual schedules stop. Made up of students from different backgrounds, the band collaborates to create new works and experiment with reimagined classics!

The Steve Kimball Blues Band is made up of Sacramento Blues Hall of Famers which will surely be a sight to see when performing.

Throughout his life, Los Angeles-based singer/guitarist Blue House has experienced a truly unpredictable and unprecedented journey. From admiring Led Zeppelin’s guitarist Jimmy Page to performing for him, from attending Berklee College of Music to playing some of the most famed festivals in the world as Lollapalooza – Blue House has done all of these things. Now, with his new solo career under his artist name, BLUE HOUSE, he’s setting off on his biggest adventure yet – musically, spiritually, and personally.

Tom Rigney is one of the premier Roots Music fiddle players on the planet, and his band–
Tom Rigney and Flambeau–specializes in blazing Cajun two-steps, low-down Blues, and funky New Orleans grooves.
Flambeau showcases Rigney’s fiery, virtuoso fiddling, his charismatic stage presence, and his range and originality as a composer/songwriter. He and Flambeau have forged a unique sound that blends American Roots styles into something original and HOT–mixing irresistible grooves with deep musicality and spectacular soloing.

Over the last decade, Zenny has led the ZCrew through multiple performances that have included Sacramento Kings games, the CA State Fair, Filipino Fiesta, Bario Fiesta, Sacramento Mardi Gras, and private events that included Zumba classes for Garth Brooks’ wife Trisha Yearwood.  Zenny also teaches fitness classes at various gyms and venues throughout the Sacramento region.
