Media Credential Application

Applications are now being accepted for media credentials! Thank you for your interest in providing media coverage of the 2025 California State Fair.

To apply for credentials, please follow the following instructions:

• Download and fill out the Megan’s Law form
• Provide a copy of a valid government issued ID
• Place the documents in an envelope with your name and “Media 106”
• Drop off the envelope to the Media Center on the west side of the Administration Building or mail the envelope to:

In order to process your application expeditiously, please provide links to the stories you covered for the 2024 CA State Fair. You can send those links to media@calexpo.com. Include your name and media outlet.

Once your application has been processed and approved by the Cal Expo Police Department, your documents will be shredded.

Credentials must be picked up no later than Friday, June 20, 2025. 

Reminder: Credentials are assigned to a media organization and can only be shared with approved members of your organization. When requesting a specific number of media credentials please refer to the guide below:

• Television – maximum of 12
• Radio – maximum of 8
• Print – maximum of 4
• Photography – maximum of 2
• Online – maximum of 2
