Julie Matthys – New Carlisle, IN

Junior & Open Dairy Goats

Julie Matthys lives in New Carlisle, Indiana and has worked with multiple dairy goat breeds since beginning with dairy goats in 1983 under the herd names Dairy Delight, Mint*Leaf, and M*L Legacy. With her family, she has had National Champions in three breeds; LaMancha, Nubian and Toggenburg. She currently volunteers in several capacities for the American Dairy Goat Association including being a District IV Director, First Vice President of the Association serving on the Executive Committee, and Chair of the National Show Long Range Planning Committee. Julie is also a Life Member of ADGA. Julie has judged at eight ADGA National Shows and has judged the Canadian Goat Society East and West National Shows. She is honored to be judging the California State Fair Dairy Goat Shows.
