CA State Fair’s Inaugural Film Festival!

This festival is a part of the Fine Art competition as Division 414 – Film Production. Please refer to the Fine Art Guidebook for rules.

 

This competition is open to California residents who have reached 18 years of age as of January 1, 2025. All entries completed within the last two years are eligible

How to Enter

Instructions

I. Click on “Enter Now”

2. Click on “Register” and fill out your info then click “Continue”

3. For Department select “Adult Fine Art” then for Division select “Film Production” Next, for Class choose  accordingly for either “01: Short Films” or “02: Animation.” Enter your title and year completed. Add Entry To Cart

4. Review and pay entry fees.

5. Upload your files. (maximum file size 120 MB)

6. Confirm and Finish!

Best In Show Award………………$200, Golden Bear Trophy, & State Fair Rosette
(Competes against all other Fine Arts pieces)

Juror Award…………………………….$500, Plaque, & State Fair Rosette

Award Of Excellence……………….$50 & State Fair Ribbon

Award Of Merit…………………………$30 & State Fair Ribbon

People’s Choice Award……………..State Fair Rosette

July 11, 2025 Exhibition Opens. Award results posted online.
