Martha Wolfe is a Northern California, award-winning fiber artist and founding member and curator of the international fiber art collective, Viewpoints. Her work draws inspiration from nature, history, and personal stories.
During the pandemic, Martha’s style evolved from strong representational work to more non-objective forms. This shift allowed her to explore changes in how we live, moving away from the predictable. Her new works reflect a deep introspection and response to the unprecedented times, capturing the essence of uncertainty and adaptation.
In her studio, she continues to innovate, celebrating the art of handcrafted textiles with a distinct and heartfelt approach, always pushing her creative limits.
