Terese Evenson – Shady Spring, WV
Llama and Alpaca Judge
Terese is originally from the south-side of Chicago, currently residing with her family in Shady Spring, West Virginia. She has been raising llamas and alpacas for over 20 years, starting with her children in 4-H. She and her husband were 4-H leaders for several years, and instrumental in starting the llama program in the Greenup, Kentucky area.
Now that her children are grown, they maintain a herd of approximately 100 camelids. To support her enthusiasm for the many products and arts, she has refined her focus on fiber, both in and outside of the showring.
Terese has recently relocated their farm to West Virginia. They look forward to the opportunities that this move brings. As a dual sanctioned judge, she appreciates the opportunity to travel and judge at various shows across the country and in Europe. As a former show Superintendent, she enjoy introducing and educating the public about the llama community, and spending time with llama enthusiasts of all ages.
