Judging Open Beef is Jeremy Hahn. Jeremy and his wife, Lindsay, have two children, Braden and Madison. Jeremy is an ag teacher, FFA advisor, and head basketball coach at Fieldcrest High School in Minonk, IL.
He, along with his dad and 2 brothers, operate Hahn Family Shorthorns. Their family business, now including his children, nieces and nephew, have been raising purebred livestock in Minonk for 90 years across 4 generations. Their operation focuses on the production of elite Shorthorn herd sires, bred females, and show heifer prospects marketed and sold across the US and Canada.
He attended Black Hawk East Junior College under Dr. Dan Hoge, transferred to the University of Illinois under Dr. Steven Myers and was a member of both schools’ very successful livestock judging teams.
He has had the privilege to have judged cattle shows all over the United States across 16 states and at every level, including the American Royal, National Western Stock Show, and North American International Livestock Expo.
