Crafts Competition

All California residents, 18 and over, are eligible to enter the Crafts Completion and showcase their crafts at the CA State Fair & Food Festival July 17th – August 2nd. This year’s special contests include “It’s Raining Cats & Dogs!” and “Memories.”

The Needle and Fiber Arts guide includes quilting and the special contests. All items entered in the Fiber Arts divisions will be accepted for judging.

Competition Dates

The 2020 CA State Fair & Food Festival has been cancelled, including our events and competitions, due to safety concerns regarding COVID-19.

We are planning to make the 2021 CA State Fair & Food Festival the best one yet and we hope that you’ll enter next year’s competition! The 2021 competition dates will be announced later. Please check back soon.
