California Professional Chef Challenge

California is bursting with rising star chefs who make our state’s bounty really shine!

Professional chefs will use a mystery ingredient to prepare a 3-course, restaurant-quality meal in front of a live Fair audience and a panel of qualified Judges at the Save Mart California’s Kitchen.

• Prelims: Friday, July 21, 2023
  • 12 pm – 2 pm
  • 3 pm – 5 pm
  • 6 pm – 8 pm
• Finals: Saturday, July 22, 2023
  • 6 pm – 8 pm
