Put your best paw forward and join our Cats & Dogs Look-Alike Contest from July 25 to July 31!

Two randomly selected winners will win a Family Fun Pack to the 2021 CA State Fair & Food Festival!

Costumes encouraged, so get creative. Show us what you and your best friend got.

The winner’s photos will be featured in our Cats & Dogs Exhibit coming next year to the 2021 CA State Fair & Food Festival! This internationally acclaimed exhibit takes you through a sensory and interactive journey largely devoted to games and simulations that present scientific, sociological, and cultural knowledge about cats and dogs. Brought to you by La Cite in Paris, an exhibition that gives every dog (and cat!) its day!

Rules, How to Enter, and Prize Information

Rules

  • No purchase necessary to enter or win.
  • Users can tag a friend in the post for a chance to win.
  • Cat & Dog Look-alike Contest is open to California residents who are at least 13 years old at the time of entry.
  • The photo must be of you and your pet together. No photo collages of separate photos.
  • Do not digitally alter your photos to make you and your pet look more alike.
  • Each image must show one animal and one human.
  • Submit and post as many times as you like!

How to Enter

  • Facebook: Share your photo in our main post. Join our Event page for updates!
  • Instagram: Post a photo of you and your pet on your feed. Tag us and use #CAStateFairLookalike. Make sure your profile is public so we can find it!
  • You can submit images from July 25 to July 31, 2020, @ 11:9 pm.
  • Submit and post as many times as you like!
  • Submitting your photo gives Cal Expo and CA State Fair (CalExpoStateFair.com) the right to use it on any of our social media sites, website, emails, etc.
  • Please do not use any profanity, foul language, or offensive gestures. Any inclusion will immediately disqualify you.
  • Cal Expo and CA State Fair reserve the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value.
  • Winners announced August 2, 2020

Prizes

  • Two randomly selected winners will win a Family Fun Pack to the 2021 CA State Fair & Food Festival.
  • The prize packs have no cash value and cannot be refunded.
  • Cal Expo & CA State Fair is not responsible for lost or stolen prizes.
