At its Meeting of April 29, 2022, the Board of Directors of the California Exposition and State Fair (CE&SF) directed that three proposed modifications to the Code of Conduct be placed on Cal Expo’s website for 30 days, so that the public may submit comments.  As prudent steps to further enhance the health, protection and safety of the public, employees and volunteers, the proposed modifications to the Code of Conduct are as follows:

  1. Items that obscure the face, including but not limited to clothing, apparel or masks. The wearing of health face masks may be permitted.
  2. Bags and purses entering CE&SF must follow the Clear Bag policy. All bags and purses must be either a clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC no larger than 12”x6”x12” or a one-gallon clear plastic bag (Ziploc or similar) plus a small clutch purse that does not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″.
  3. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (age 21+) when they enter or reenter the California State Fair after 6:00 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.
